Any idea what the torque value is for the low side 1" ac compressor nut? I replaced my compressor and accumulator/hose, and it worked for awhile but I think the nut that connects to the compressor worked itself loose and it leaked there. How many threads are still showing at the low side compressor fitting on yours? That will help a lot.

Where did you buy the proportioning valve rebuild kit at?

Upbought on a Stroker engine swap, had to rebuild twice, only to end up with 287 hp 🤦🏻‍♂️ Might as well should've Coyote swapped it.

Where to get the center console to match the interior colour. I have a sand beige 8L 87 LX...but cant find a colour matched center console...only red black or grey...any help out there would be great!! Love the car!

I'm confused on what a 40 series is vs the American thunder mufflers. I have a 93 foxbody gt with the stock exhaust and I mean smog pumps, cats mufflers etc.etc.etc. I'm not taking any of that off because I want to be able to pass state inspection. My question is which is louder the 40 series or the American thunder? I want to be able to just bolt the mufflers on and not have any welds that will crack and come loose.

The original 2 chamber Flowmasters sounded the best on the 5.0 Mustangs. I sold a metric ton of those 2 chamber Flowmaster mufflers from the mid/late 80's and all the way through the 90's for the 5.0 crowd. The later stuff never sounded as good as the original 2 chamber mufflers. The other day I talked to one of my old customers that still works on 5.0 stuff and he had a couple of the original hand welded steel 2 chamber muffler in their factory boxes for a future project, he knows nothing sounded as good as they did.

How do u take the e brake lines off and replace them.. mine are old and rusted badly i would like to remove them and place in a oil bath and reinstall..

i got a silver one clean that’s been in a garage and clean interior we go like 120 mph sometimes really good traction control and a red one with white stripes and its a convertible and the silver 1 is a LX hatchback wide body my red one needs brake pads we’re selling the red one so yeah ❤

Man, I loved that car. My buddy had an 82 RS Blue and Silver two tone, Gorgeous mags, straight pipes, no bubble hatch, so maybe 84. I always thought it was the best looking of the fox body cars. i had a bit more refined 86 Thunderbird 5.0, two tone with added skirts and mags, so easy to work on. Those were the days. One of my favorite memories was working the security gate at a company my buddy and I both worked at when I saw him drive by screaming down the road, 3 minutes later he's coming back still flying when he turns into the company yelling "open the gate open the gate" he drove in, parked right behind my security shack, ran in sat down saying "I was here the whole time, okay, the whole time." I'm like what? a few seconds later a cruiser goes flying by with his lights flashing, "Oh, the whole time".

I was having fuel pump issues could this be why everything up top wad getting super hot?

I bought a burgandy/Recaro gut '82 that I planned to keep forever but it was a piece of junk and rotted out by mid-90s. Ford had put a fuckin' Pinto rear under it, heater core went out in a year, trans. probs. I babied it too washed under/over constant, just one of those Monday built POS. TRX were 15.5 inch. 390 divide by 25. Not a bad size but should have just designed a 16.

How long does it take to change lower intake gaskets and valve cover gaskets and throttle body gasket along with exhaust header gaskets does 7 hours sound right or is it more like 4-5 can you ask Jen’s mat if you don’t know @gearhead704

Ya mine caught fire yesterday. Make sure you put an inline fuse on the signal wire to save yourself 3-6 hours of wiring later on.

Do you guys need to remove the tailpipe exhaust ro install the fuel pump,?i have a difficullt time installing mine .looks like exhaust is in the way .thanks
